    Moodle continues to perform normally, serving 3.2 million pages this week. As such, this will be our last announcement related to the issues we had been experiencing. On Tuesday morning during our maintenance window from 6am - 8am we will be adding additional capacity to ensure that system capabilities remain well in excess of projected demand.

    Activity logging within Moodle has now been reinstated and the application is now fully functional. We’ll be continuing to actively monitor performance over the next week. On Tuesday morning, we’ll be making use of our regularly scheduled maintenance window to perform additional tuning from 6am - 8am.

    Moodle is currently operating within normal parameters, with no performance issues since the infrastructure changes of yesterday morning. We are currently reconfiguring the activity logging system, and testing to ensure the return of this service will not impact service. We will have additional information about this final task in our update this afternoon.

    Monitoring since our infrastructure change confirms that Moodle is now once again operating within normal response parameters across all tasks. At this time activity logging is still suspend. We will be reviewing performance information tomorrow morning and will make a decision about restoring logging at that time.

    We continue to experience technical issues with the Moodle Learning Management System that are causing service disruptions. We have been actively monitoring the Moodle Learning Management System since becoming aware of these intermittent issues on September 10th. We have taken multiple steps to mitigate these disruptions but Moodle performance remains intermittently slow, which may affect access to Moodle, access to course materials and activities.

    We are continuing to investigate the underlying issue and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused at such a critical time in the term for faculty and students. Read more...

    It has been a approximately one week since we began to notice a lag in Moodle performance.  The problem is intermittent and unpredictable.  We have been working diligently to figure out what is causing the problem, and how to resolve it.   Resolving this problem remains our highest priority and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.  Once the problem has been resolved, we will send out notification.     Some users may have experienced problems with Turnitin on Monday, January 5 between 1:30AM and 10:30PM. This may have affected students trying to submit assignments through Turnitin in Moodle.
